REIGN is an aggressive multidimensional thrash metal outfit that is not afraid to push the boundaries of their genre. With electrifying musicianship and sheer tenacity, Reign has gone from basements to major festivals and has become a Midwest mainstay with an ever-growing fan base.
Reign was formed in 2013 in Chicago IL. Fusing death metal rhythms, progressive song layering, and old school thrash riffs, Reign quickly built a following in the underground DIY scene. The band gained a reputation for high-energy shows and was able to tour the Midwest (without any recordedmaterial!). In 2014 Reign released the single, “New World Order”(DEMO) and followed up with their first self-produced EP, “WMD”. In the spring of
2016 they released their well-received second EP, “Maximum Carnage”, and subsequently toured the United States. The next year they released the
single “Honor Killings”, which landed them on spot on Chicago’s 2017 Warped Tour date. In November 2018 they released a full-length album “Destitute”. The culmination of their experience and dedication, the album was critically acclaimed by thrash metal fans worldwide. The best is yet to come!
